The City extends north to south for around 10 miles. The boundaries are somewhat peculiar but we remain. Most importantly the city is very nice, has everything you need and has ready access to Interstate-4.
Auburndale has more home sales than you may think. Auburndale also has some incredible homes for both first time owners and those choosing to live in the lap of luxury and just not spend as much money as you would in some of the cities to the northeast. 238 traditional single family homes sold here in the last 6 months. The median price was a surprising $226,000 which is nothing to sneeze at.
With nearly 1/3 of the city being lakes and ponds you can imagine that the city has quite a few waterfront or water view homes. There is nothing like living on a lake here in Auburndale. 21 waterfront homes sold in the previous 6 months. The most expensive was only $700,000 which is shockingly low compared to what that home would sell for just northeast of here. The median price of a waterfront home was only $390,000. Downtown Auburndale is located on the southeast side of Lake Ariana. The photo above is the north part of Main Street next to the city park. Main Street continues north to the south side of Lake Stella. Lake Stella is only about 550 feet across but has a very nice fountain which contributes to the beauty of it. The downtown area is rather small but you will be proud to drive your visitors through it. It is very visually appealing and certainly has that small town friendly feel to it.
