The community does not offer a lot of amenities. What is does offer is affordable housing in a great location for commuters and those who like a little bit of peace and quiet. Steeplechase had its’ first homes built in 1990 and the last home was built in 2006. Most of the homes were built in a traditional community setting but some back up to the preserve or community ponds.

Most of the homes are the 3-bedroom floor plan but you may occasionally see a 4-bedroom home for sale here. I do not believe there is a 5-bedroom home in this neighborhood.

Local shopping for Steeplechase will be at the Publix Supermarket at Oakbridge Center 3.6 miles to the east. There is also a Target Supercenter and a couple of restaurants there. Just a little further east but still under 5 miles away is the Walmart Supercenter.
